Fun Bash 2025

Another great event is for the books, this time at Plato Academy’s Clearwater campus as hundreds of excited families gathered for the highly anticipated Summer Fun Bash, hosted by the Plato Education Foundation. The May 17 event transformed the school grounds into a vibrant playground complete with towering water slides, bounce houses, and activity stations.

Children splashed through foam and water parties while parents browsed offerings from local craft and food vendors.

“We wanted to create something that would bring our community together while supporting our educational initiatives,” said Savella Carosa, events director of the Plato Education Foundation. “Seeing so many families enjoying themselves validates all the hard work our volunteers put into organizing this event.”

Live music filled the air and the giant water slides proved to be the most popular attraction. Local businesses contributed to the festive atmosphere through sponsorships and vendor booths.

The event served multiple purposes beyond entertainment—raising funds for the Foundation’s educational programs while strengthening community bonds. Many participants expressed appreciation for the opportunity to connect with other families in such a joyful setting.

As the event concluded, volunteers were already discussing plans for next year’s bash, with aspirations to expand both activities and attendance. The Summer Fun Bash has quickly established itself as a signature event for the Plato Academy community—one that celebrates summer’s arrival while supporting childrens’ education.
